ITEM OVERVIEW
Most maps, including those still commonly used today, are based on the work of European map-makers of the age when Europe dominated and exploited the world. The German historian, Arno Peters, created a map that corrects the distortions of most maps, primarily by showing all areas—whether countries, continents or oceans—according to their actual size. Did you know that Scandinavia is actually only a third the size of India. Or that Mexico is considerably bigger than Alaska. Or that Greenland is tiny. Or that the "South" is almost twice the size of the "North." Here it is, a 35" x 50" paper full-color wall map, including eight informational panels (and which folds down to a handy 8 1/2" x 12"). No wall is really complete without one...
